Bitumen 60/70: This is the most commonly used penetration-grade bitumen in Brazil. Moderately hard and viscous, Bitumen 60/70 is best suited for highway construction in Southeast, Central-West, and coastal regions such as São Paulo, Brasília, and Rio de Janeiro, where the warm and humid climate prevails. It provides a good balance of durability and flexibility.
